YONKERS, NY, Dec. 6 -- Chevrolet, Ford and Subaru scored the biggest gains in the minds of consumers,  with overall increases of at least 30 points in 2009, the annual Consumer Reports Car Brand Perception Survey has determined. The magazine also found that safety, quality and value were the top considerations of consumers when buying a new car. Toyota maintained the No. 1 position in the survey, but Ford moved ahead of Honda from third place to second, Chevrolet rose to fourth place from ninth, and Subaru leaped to the ninth place from 18th.Related Articles Toyota Avalon tops in...
